A Foundry program designed so single mothers could attend.
Most founder programs assume a free evening. The mothers we wanted in the room had children at home and nobody to watch them. So the program was built around the family.
Dinner served at every session. Childcare built in. Study halls alongside the workshops. Seed funding for the families who graduated.
Ten families started. Eight graduated with seed funding.
What this was: a family business program of The Foundry. My role: The Foundry asked me to build it; I designed the curriculum and led the workshops.
Who it's for: foundations, community organizations, and programs that serve working parents.
