Why It Started

In February 2017 I left a fifteen-year career in practice management to build what I had already lived at my own kitchen table. My daughter's idea had grown into a brand on boutique and big box shelves, and parents kept asking how. Raising A Mogul was the answer, built for families who wanted their children to own something.

What we built: the Raising A Mogul community and Facebook group, the Family Business Mastermind, the RAM Family Business Conference, RAM TV & Podcast, Young Mogul News, Young Mogul Prep School, Young Mogul Speakers Academy, and the book Raising A Mogul: The Manual.

What Happened

More than 5,000 people joined the community in its first six months. The programs, the conference, and the book reached families across the country, and the work was featured by Forbes, Entrepreneur, Black Enterprise, AfroTech, and ABC Nightline. Raising A Mogul is now the parent company of Legacy Brand Creators, and the Facebook group is still where I go live every week.

What this was: a community, a conference, and a book built from one family's story. Who it's for: organizations that want a program families will actually show up for.
